ProfileEngine

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 8, 2026

ProfileEngine is a resume and ATS-readiness product operated by Boost It Marketing under the Linkedly brand, at profileengine.linkedly.net. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers ProfileEngine specifically — Linkedly's other services have their own policy.

What we collect

  • Your resume. The file you upload (PDF or DOCX) and the text extracted from it — which typically includes your name, contact details, employment history, education, and skills.
  • Answers you give during the metric-mining interview. These are facts about your own work that you choose to provide.
  • Your email address. Captured when you request your free ATS score, and again if you create an account.
  • Account and billing identifiers. If you buy a plan, we store an identifier linking your account to your Whop membership. We never see or store your card details.
  • Basic usage and referral data. Which pages you visit, and any ?ref or ?via referral code, stored in a cookie for up to 90 days so referral credit can be attributed.

How we use it

  • To score your resume for ATS compatibility and produce your audit findings.
  • To ask you targeted questions about your accomplishments, and to rewrite your bullets using the answers you give.
  • To compare your resume against job descriptions you paste in, and to tailor your bullets to those roles.
  • To generate documents you download, and to email you sign-in links.
  • To operate billing, enforce plan limits, and pay referral commissions.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send your resume to employers or recruiters. Applications are something you submit yourself — ProfileEngine never applies to a job on your behalf.

AI processing — please read this one

The text of your resume, and the answers you give during the interview, are sent to Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate your score, questions, rewrites, and job-match analysis. This is essential to how the product works; there is no version of the service that produces these results without it.

Anthropic's commercial API terms state that inputs and outputs submitted through the API are not used to train their models. We rely on those terms; you can read them at anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms.

Who we share it with

We use the following providers to run the service. Each receives only what it needs for its function.

  • Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication. Your resume file, extracted text, bullets, and account records are stored here.
  • Anthropic — AI processing of your resume text and interview answers, as described above.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Whop — checkout, subscriptions, and affiliate payouts. Whop handles payment details directly; we do not receive them.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email such as sign-in links.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, in which case Google confirms your identity and shares your email address with us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves.

How long we keep it

Your account, resume, and rewritten bullets are retained while your account exists, so you can return to your work.

If you run a free audit and never create an account, that audit and the resume file you uploaded are automatically deleted after 7 days. A scheduled job removes both the stored file and the record — we do not keep resumes from people who did not sign up.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), and we will remove your account, resume file, extracted text, bullets, and job matches. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes — such as proof of a transaction — may be retained longer.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have specific statutory rights to access, deletion, correction, portability, and to object to certain processing; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.

Email kenh@linkedly.net and we will respond. We may need to confirm you control the email address on the account before acting on a request.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and a referral cookie storing any ?ref or ?via code for up to 90 days so that whoever referred you gets credited. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

ProfileEngine is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we handle data you have already given us, tell you by email.
